The map is alive. So are the enemies.

There are no fixed lanes in VOID TD. Enemies take the shortest path to your reactor, and every tower you place forces them to find a new one. Building well means building shapes — funnel the swarm into a corridor, stack your damage at the pinch point, and hold while the map tears open around you.

Walls cost 2 gold. Use them.

Two maps, two problems

Breach Alpha — a 40-wave campaign that starts locked to a single central corridor. Survive, and new sectors breach: the eastern flank at wave 10, the north at 20, the south at 30. Each one opens a new entry point and floods the map from a direction you haven't defended. By wave 40 you're holding four fronts at once, with a boss arriving at every entry simultaneously.

The Gauntlet — the whole grid open from wave one, four corner entries, and island columns forming gates too wide to hold. Nobody defends this map without building walls.

Six towers

  • Gun (30g) — fast, precise, single target. The backbone.
  • Cannon (60g) — slow splash damage. Shreds crowds, useless against splash-immune brutes.
  • Goop (45g) — no damage, just slow puddles. Pairs with everything.
  • Sniper (100g) — seven-tile range, always shoots the highest-HP target.
  • Lightning (90g) — chains between three nearby enemies. Melts swarms.
  • Wall (2g) — no damage, no range. The most important tower in the game.

Every combat tower has two upgrade paths, three levels each. The tower panel shows live DPS so you can see exactly what a tier is buying you.

Nine enemy types, each one breaking a different plan

Raiders split in two when they die. Brutes ignore splash entirely. Shielded enemies eat your first hit for free. Phantoms walk through goop like it isn't there. Titans have 2000 HP and all the time in the world. Bosses land every five waves — and every other boss is a Blight, immune to the goop you've been leaning on.

Boss-wave upgrade cards

Clear a boss wave and draft one of three cards from a 21-card pool — or skip for gold. Overclock your guns, run Siege Mode cannons at double damage and 40% fire rate, take Interest and bank gold every break, or grab Restructure to tear out every wall and get the gold back mid-run. One per run, rarity-weighted, and the run you build is never quite the run you planned.

Endless

Full map, no ceiling, per-map best-wave tracking. The game tells you when you've beaten your record.

Map editor

Build your own layouts — islands, reactor placement, entry points, expansion sectors — and play them straight from the map select screen.

Every sound is generated at runtime

No audio files ship with this game. The reactor drone, the gunshot crack, the boss impact, the music — all of it is synthesised as raw PCM when the game boots. The music layers thicken as sectors breach, so wave 30 sounds nothing like wave 1.

What's New in This Build

  • Boss-wave upgrade cards — 21-card pool across firepower, economy, structure and special; draft after every boss wave, or skip for +40 gold
  • New map: The Gauntlet — four corner entries, open grid, wall-building mandatory
  • Map editor — design and play custom maps
  • Endless high scores — per-map best wave, saved and surfaced in-run
  • Perfect-wave streak bonus — clear a wave without taking damage for escalating gold
  • Boss telegraph + expansion warnings — you get told what's coming before it arrives
  • Wall replacement — placing a tower on a wall auto-sells the wall and builds in one click
  • Balance pass — tower costs up, walls down to 2g, starting gold at 75g, raider pressure reined in through the back half
  • Enemy counter now shows queued plus active enemies, not just what's on screen
